1:489 police-to-population ratio target ng PNP pagdating ng 2022

Target ng pamunuan ng Philippine National Police ang 1:489 police-to-population ratio sa susunod na limang taon.

Kasabay nito, inaprubahan na rin ng National Police Commission ang recruitment ng 14,484 police officers.

Kumpiyansa rin si Supt. Juvenal Barbosa, Assistant Chief of the recruitment and selection division ng NAPOLCOM, ang regular recruitment program sa pagpapalakas ng manpower at pwersa ng Police force.

Paliwanag pa ni Barbosa, mahigit 10,000 policemen ang marerecruit sa ilalim ng regular recruitment quota at nasa mahigit na 4,484 sa ilalim ng attrition recruitment.
