21 opisyal at empleyado ng Philhealth kinasuhan ng NBI sa DOJ kaugnay sa ghost dialysis claims ng WellMed

Sinampahan ng National Bureau of Investiogation (NBI)sa Department of Justice (DOJ) ng mga reklamong kriminal ang 21 opisyal at kawani ng Philhealth na nag-apruba ng akreditasyon ng Wellmed Dialysis center na sangkot sa pekeng dialysis claims.

Mga reklamong paglabag sa Anti-Graft Law, National Health Insurance act at Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public officials and employees ang inihain ng NBI laban sa mga respondents.

(1) section 3(e) of R.A. 3019 otherwise known as
the “anti-graft and corrupt practices act”
(2) R.A. 10606 otherwise known
as “national health insurance act of 2013; at
(3) R.A. 6713 otherwise
known as “code of conduct and ethical standards for public officials and
employees” )

Kabilang sa kinasuhan ng NBI ang mga miyembro ng accreditation subcommittee ng Philhealth Regional office-NCR pangunahin na ang branch manager nito na si Dr Lolita V. Tuliao.

accreditation sub-committee of Philhealth regional office National
Capital Region (PRO NCR)

6. Dr. Manuel Lampitoc, permanent alternate of accreditation sub
committee of Philhealth Regional office National Capital Region (PRO NCR)

7. Atty. Recto M. Panti, member of accreditation sub-committee of

Ayon sa NBI, nagpabaya ang mga respondents sa kanilang tungkulin nang aprubahan ang akreditasyon ng Wellmed noong 2019 sa kabila ng imbestigasyon ng fact-finding investigation at enforcement division ng Philhealth ukol sa ghost claims ng Wellmed.

Sinabi pa ng NBI na nabigo ang Philhealth accreditation department sa head office division na aksyunan ang mosyon na bawiin ang akreditasyon ng wellmed para sa 2019 kahit may imbestigasyon at whistleblowers na sa pekeng dialysis claims ng kumpanya.

Nabatid sa imbestigasyon ng NBI anti- graft division na hindi nagsagawa ang Philhealth regional office ncr ng periodic monitoring sa health care institution gaya ng wellmed na paglabag sa batas.

Tiniyak ng NBI na patuloy ang kanilang imbestigasyon sa isyu at sa iba pang mga healthcare institutions.

Sa ngayon walang ebidensya ang nbi na tumanggap ng suhol ang mga philhealth officials mula sa wellmed.

Pero kumbinsido ang NBI na nagkaroon ng sabwatan sa pagitan ng mga Philhealth officials at ng Wellmed.
