Barracks ng Marine Battalion sa Cagayan, matatapos na

Minamadali nang tapusin ng Department of Public Workd and Highways (DPWH), ang bagong barracks para sa 20th Marine Company, Marine Battalion Landing Team 10 ng Philippine Marine Corps sa Sta. Praxedes, Cagayan.

Banggit ang ulat mula sa DPWH Cagayan Second District Engineering Office, sinabi ni Acting Secretary Roger Mercado, na ang dalawang palapag na gusali ay itinatayo upang magsilbing operational at lodging facility para sa uniformed personnel sa Cagayan.

Target na matapos sa June 2022, ang 234-square meter barracks ay magkakaroon ng 20 silid na may bukod na comfort rooms para sa Marines na nakatalaga sa Sta. Praxedes.

Ang P9.5-million project ay priority sa ilalim ng DPWH- Department of National Defense (DND) Convergence Program on Strengthening and Expanding Military Readiness for National Security and Development, na may layuning mapahusay pa ang military facilities at detachments para sa improved personnel capacity.
