August 16, 2015- Umabot na sa 112 ang bilang ng namatay makaraang sumabog ang isang warehouse sa North China’s Tianjin City noong Miyerkules ng gabi ayon sa mga awtoridad.
“Up to 9:00 on Sunday, we have found 112 bodies, with 24 already identified and 88 being identified,” sabi ni Gong Jiansheng, deputy director of the Publicity Department ng Tianjin Municipal Party Committee.
“In addition, after identification comparison, previously identified four fragmentary bodies actually belongs to two people, so the death toll reduces two,” sabi ni Gong.
“Last night we find ten more corpses, increasing the death toll to 112,” dagdag niya.
95 na katao, kabilang ang 85 na firefighter ang nawawala pa ayon kay Gong.
“According to repeated and careful counting by relevant departments, 95 people are still unaccounted for, including 85 firefighters – 13 commissioned security public firefighters and 72 Tianjin Port firefighters, as well as ten others. The data may overlap the 88 being identified,” sabi ni Gong.
“More information will be publicized with DNA comparison work going forward,” aniya.
“DNA comparison has very strong scientific and legal characteristics, and we are straining ourselves in the work. We will publicize the information after identifying relevant people,” sabi ni Gong.
