DOJ handang tumulong sa pagproseso ng Interpol request kaugnay sa ICC arrest order vs FPRRD
Handa ang Department of Justice (DOJ) na tanggapin at iproseso ang anumang hiling mula sa Interpol kaugnay sa warrant of arrest ng International Criminal Court (ICC), laban kay dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte kaugnay sa war on drugs.
Sinabi ni DOJ Spokesperson Mico Clavano na hindi maaaring balewalain ng DOJ o gobyerno ang anumang hiling mula sa Interpol dahil nakatali ang Pilipinas sa kasunduan dito.

Sa ngayon ay wala pa aniyang natatanggap na anumang abiso ang kagawaran ukol sa arrest order.
Pero paliwanag ni Clavano, isasailalim sa pagsusuri ng National Central Bureau (NCB) na binubuo ng PNP, NBI at BI ang anumang hiling mula sa Interpol at saka ito aaksyunan ng pamahalaan.
Kapag umabot aniya ang isyu sa national significance ay tutulong din aniya ang DOJ sa NCB.
Sinabi ni Clavano, “Siguro it might be a bit premature to be talking about what will happen once there’s an issuance of a warrant of arrest, but we are ready to receive it and we are also ready to process if in case it comes from the Interpol. All these request dadaan sa evaluation, we have to see if all the supporting documents are ready and the Interpol request is a valid request and that’s the only time it will be given due course on that basis.”
