Mga kinatawan ng UNDP, nag-virtual courtesy call kay Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta

Nag-online courtesy call ang mga kinatawan ng United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) kay Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta.

Ang mga ito ay sina Dr. Selvakumaran Ramachandran, UNDP Philippines Resident Representative, at  Jonathan Hodder, UNDP Governance Specialist.

Ayon sa Supreme Court Public Information Office, tinalakay ng punong mahistrado sa mga UNDP officials ang feasibility ng public-private partnership para sa technological advancements sa hudikatura.

Partikular ang teknolohiya para mapaunlad ang access sa hustisya sa Pilipinas.

Si Peralta ang Chairperson ng SC Committee on Computerization and Library.

Ang UNDP ang unang major development partner na sumuporta sa komprehensibong development plan sa hudikatura sa Pilipinas.

Nagsimula ang partnership ng Supreme Court at UNDP noong dekada ’90.

Noong 2012 ipinatupad nito ang proyektong “Making Justice Work for the Marginalized”  na justice reform component ng Outcome Area 3: Democratic Governance ng UNDP.
