Tulong ng pamahalaan sa mga naapektuhan ng bagyo, tiniyak ng Malakanyang

Pagkatapos ng pananalasa ng bagyong Jolina siniguro ng Malakanyang na nakatutok ang gobyerno sa ginagawang pagtugon ng iba’t-ibang ahensya ng pamahalaan sa pangangailangan ng mga apektadong residente.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Secretary Harry Roque nakapagtala ang Department of Social Welfare and Development ng 2,045 families o 7,602 indibidwal na inilikas sa 131 evacuation centers.

Sinabi ni Roque na mayroong 442.9 milyong pisong Quick Response Fund ang DSWD sa kanilang Central Office kung saan 11.2 milyong piso ang available sa Field Offices sa Region 4B o MIMAROPA, Region 4A o CALABARZON, Region 5, Region 6 at Region 8 na dinaanan ng bagyong Jolina.

Inihayag ni Roque mayroon ding 32.5 milyong pisong pondo ang naka-standby sa DSWD Field Offices na maaaring gamiting support sa relief operations.

Sa ngayon may 12,535 Family Food Packs ang available sa Disaster Response Centers ng DSWD.

Idinagdag ni Roque nagpapatuloy din ang power and communication lines restoration maging ang clearing operations sa mga kalsada at tulay na naapektuhan ng bagyo sa pangunguna ng National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council o NDRRMC katulong ang local government units.

Nananawagan ang Malakanyang sa publiko na manatiling alerto lalo na at nakatakdang manalasa din sa bansa ang bagyong Kiko at siguraduhing nasusunod ang minimum public health standards sa mga evacuation centers.

On Tropical Storm Jolina and Typhoon Kiko, We are closely monitoring the developments of the operations for Tropical Storm Jolina and preparations for Typhoon Kiko. The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has reported the evacuation of 2,045 families or 7,602 persons in 131 evacuation centers. The DSWD has P442.9-M Quick Response Fund at its Central Office; P11.2-M available at its Field Offices in Region 4B o Mimaropa, Region 4A o CALABARZON, Region 5, Region 6 and Region 8 and P32.5-M in other DSWD Field Offices which may support the relief needs of displaced families.

In addition, there are 12,535 Family Food Packs available in Disaster Response Centers. Power and communication lines restoration and clearing operations of roads are ongoing in affected areas, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).We ask the public to continue to remain alert and vigilant, take precautionary measures, observe minimum public health standards, and cooperate with their respective local authorities in case of an evacuation”.
