Felix Y. Manalo Foundation, Inc., kinilala bilang Philanthropic Organization of the Year 2020 ng Daly City

The Philanthropic Organization of the Year, a first-ever recognition of its kind in Daly City, Calif., was awarded to the Felix Y. Manalo Foundation, Inc. on December 14, 2020. The award of recognition was presented to the Felix Y. Manalo Foundation, Inc. by Mayor Glenn Sylvester and Daly City’s City Council during a ceremony held through video conferencing that recognized its efforts to bridge the digital divide within the community, especially the youth and most vulnerable seniors.

Ginawaran ng Philanthropic Organization of the Year, isang kauna-unahang uri ng pagkilala sa Lungsod ng Daly, California ang Felix Y. Manalo Foundation, Inc., ang socio-civic platform ng Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ).

Ang gawad pagkilala ay iprinisinta ni Daly City Mayor Glenn Sylvester at ng City Council, sa ginanap na seremonya sa pamamagitan ng video conferencing noong Dec. 14, 2020.

Ayon sa pahayag ni Mayor Sylvester . . . “This year I’m proud and honored to give the Philanthropic Organization of the Year to Felix Y. Manalo Foundation Incorporated.” “This organization provides aid to humanity in a number of ways. For the city of Daly City, that meant bridging the digital divide within our community. Especially stricken by this pandemic was our youth and our most vulnerable, our seniors. In response, the Felix Y. Manalo foundation donated 80 laptops to the city.”

Kinilala ni Mayor Sylvester ang FYM Foundation sa isinagawa nitong Aid To Humanity noong October 2020, na nakatulong sa pagkakaroon ng resources at fund program enrichment para sa mga kabataan at nakatatanda. Ito na ang ikalawang educational donation mula sa FYM Foundation para sa mga pamilya sa rehiyon, kasunod ng katulad ding regalo sa Boys & Girls Club ng San Mateo County nitong Setyembre.

Ang gawad pagkilala ay tinanggp ni Kapatid na Esteban Inocencio, District Supervising Minister ng Northwest California, isang rehiyon na binubuo ng 22 local congregations ng INC sa paligid ng San Francisco Bay Area.

Ayon kay Kapatid na Inocencio . . . “We are truly honored to receive this award. We attribute all the success and triumph of the Church to the Almighty God through the dynamic leadership of our Executive Minister Brother Eduardo V. Manalo. We will continue to assist this wonderful city in its humanitarian and social civic works through our Aid To Humanity programs.”

Naging saksi naman sa virtual awarding ceremony mula sa Quezon City, Philippines sina Kapatid na Glicerio Santos IV bilang kinatawan ng Felix Y. Manalo Foundation.

Kapwa si Kapatid na Glicerio Santos IV at FYM Foundation President, Kapatid na Glicerio B. Santos, Jr., ay kinilala rin sa patuloy nilang pangunguna sa mga paglingap na isinasagawa sa buong mundo.

Sa kaniyang acceptance speech, pinasalamatan din ni Kapatid na Inocencio ang Tagapamahalang Pangkalahatan, ang Kapatid na Eduardo V. Manalo para sa kaniyang pangangasiwa at paggabay sa kabuuan ng Iglesia Ni Cristo.

Dagdag pa ni Kapatid na Inocencio . . . “We will never stop our Aid To Humanity efforts.” “We work side by side with the city governments, with the guidance that we are given by our Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo. So we would be able to make a difference and cause a positive impact on society, in being able to do this good work for the glory of the Almighty God.”

Ang Iglesia Ni Cristo sa pamamagitan ng mga kongregasyon sa 158 mga bansa at teritoryo, ay nagsasagawa ng Lingap sa Mamamayan (Aid To Humanity) events sa buong mundo. Sa Canada at Estados Unidos, natulungan na nito ang libu-libong mahihirap na pamilya at nagbigay din ng donasyon sa daan-daang charitable organizations.
