Pagsasagawa ng workshop, training at seminar sa mga lugar na nasa ilalim ng GCQ, pinapayagan na ng IATF

Aprubado na ng Inter Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases o IATF ang pagsasagawa ng workshops, trainings, seminars, congresses, conferences at board meetings sa mga lugar na nasa ilalim ng General Community Quarantine o GCQ.

Sinabi ni Presidential Spokesman Secretary Harry Roque batay sa naging pasiya ng IATF maaaring isagawa ang  mga nabanggit na event sa hotel, restaurant, ballroom at function halls.

Ayon kay Roque nasa 30 percent venue capacity lamang ang papahintulutan alinsunod sa direktiba ng IATF at pinapayagan na rin ang consumer trade shows.

Inihayag ni Roque na inaatasan ng IATF ang Department of Tourism at   Department of Trade and Industry na maglabas nang kaukulang guidelines samantalang ang  DOH, DOLE, DILG, DOT at DOTr ay maglalabas ng memorandum circular para idetalye ang requirement sa pagkakaruon ng Safety Seal at  QR Code na ilalagay sa pasukan ng mga kinauukukang establisyemento.

Statement, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque :

“Workshops, trainings, seminars, and other related events allowed in GCQ areas up to 30% capacity The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) on Thursday, December 3, 2020, allowed the conduct of workshops, trainings, seminars, congresses, conferences, board meetings, colloquia, conclaves, symposia, and consumer trade shows the above mentioned events must be held in venues in areas under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) and will be permitted up to 30% venue capacity.

Venues include restaurants, in general; restaurants attached to hotels; ballrooms and function halls within hotels; venues within hotel premises; and mall atria. In this connection, the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) are directed to jointly issue the necessary guidelines.

Also adopted during the 87th IATF Meeting is the recommendation of the Office of the Cabinet Secretariat to implement the Safety Seal Certification Program in addition to StaySafe.ph.

All establishments, such as government offices, private companies, hotels and business establishments and public transportation units are thus required to adopt the Safety Seal.

The IATF directed the DTI, Department of Health (DOH), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), DOT, and the Department of Transportation (DOTr) directed to issue the necessary joint memorandum circular to detail the requirements to secure a Safety Seal which include the adoption of the Stay Safe application and the generation of its QR Code to be displayed in all entrances”.
