Management ng The Manila Times, sinampolan ng cyber libel ng isang lider ng Kamara

Sinampahan ng kasong libelo ni House Majority leader Zamboanga City Representative Manuel Jose Mannix Dalipe, ang publisher, directors, editors, at writer ng daily broadsheet na The Manila Times.
Nag-ugat ang kaso sa artikulong inilathala ng The Manila Times na nakabatay umano sa leaked document at pineke ang pirma ni Dalipe, hinggil sa Oplan Horus o Operation Panggigipit kaugnay sa Midterm election campaign attack plan para ipursige ang impeachment case laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte at diskuwalipikasyon sa halalan ng mga kaalyadong kandidato.
Ayon kay Dalipe, “These accusation are without merit and I categorically dent the authenticity of this document. Oplan Horus is purely fabricated using my name. I cannot allow myself to be the subject of another desperate attempt to make a baseless claim that seeks not only to tarnish my reputation but to destabilize the political landscape.”
Binigyang-diin ni Dalipe, na ang artikulo ng The Manila Times laban sa kaniya ay defamatory, malicious, at naglalayong ilagay siya sa public ridicule at contempt.
Aniya, “The act of The Manila Times in connection with the publishing of the subject Oplan Horus is libelous, that violates Cyber Libel Law or Republic Act 10175 under section 4 paragraph C in relation to articles 353 and 355 of the Revised Penal Code, because they never made any attempt to confirm the truthfulness of the falsified document with me.”
Ang mga respondent sa kasong isinampa ni Dalipe laban sa The Manila Times ay sina Dante Francis Ang II publisher, kasama ang mga director na sina Michael Alexander Ang, Anna Marie Thompson, Dante Ang, Maria Presiosa Monica DV Ang, Joanna Paola DV Ang, Michael Denise Saludo at Josepht Noel Estrada, mga editor na sina Arnold Belleza, Leena Calso Chua, Lynette Luna, Tessa Mauricio-Ariola, Conrad Carino, Emil Noguera, Frederick Nasiad, Dafor Villaseran, at Rene Dilan kasama ang mga reporter na sina Red Mensoza, Kaizer Jan Fuentes at Catherine Valente.
