DFA, target ilunsad ang e-Visa system sa PH sa 3rd qtr ng 2023

Inaasahang lalong bibilis at mas dadali na ang visa application ng mga dayuhan na nais na bumisita sa Pilipinas.

Inanunsiyo ni Foreign Affairs Undersecretary for Civilian Security and Consular Affairs Jesus  Domingo na naka-iskedyul na ilunsad ng kagawaran sa ikatlong quarter ng taon ang E-visa system ng bansa.

Ayon kay Domingo, sa pamamagitan ng e-visa system ay maaari nang makapag-apply ng visa ang foreign nationals remotely gamit ang kanilang personal computers, laptops, at mobile devices.

“The PH e-Visa system will allow foreign nationals to apply for appropriate PH visas remotely through personal computers, laptops, and mobile devices. This would make the visa application process faster, more efficient and convenient for foreign nationals who wish to visit the Philippines for touristic and business purposes ” ani Domingo.

Sa ngayon ay dinidevelop pa ng DFA katuwang ang Department of Information and Communication Technology (DICT) ang PH e-Visa system.

Una nang lumagda ng kasunduan ang DFA at DICT noong Abril para sa well-coordinated at synchronized ICT system para sa consular services ng bansa.

Iprinisenta ang prototype ng e-Visa system sa Consular consultation meeting kahapon ng Consul Generals ng Pilipinas sa lahat ng pitong foreign service posts sa Tsina.
