Liderato ng Kamara handang tumalima sa kautusan ng Korte Suprema na magbigay ng komento sa legalidad ng Maharlika Investment Funds
Magsusumite ng komento ang mababang kapulungan ng kongreso sa Korte Suprema hinggil sa kinukuwestiyon na legalidad ng Republic Act 11954 o Maharlika Investment Fund Act of 2023.
Sinabi ni House Speaker Martin Romualdez na pasasakop ang Kamara sa kautusan ng Korte Suprema na ipagtanggol ang legalidad ng Maharlika Investment Law sa loob ng sampung araw na palugit na ibinigay ng judiciary department.
Ayon sa liderato ng Kamara dumaan sa tamang legislative process ang Maharlika Investment Fund Law at isinaalang-alang ang probisyon ng saligang batas.
Inihayag ng Kamara na malinis ang intensiyon ng mga mambabatas na tiyaking mayroong transparency at accountability sa management ng public funds.
Niliwanag ng Kamara na ang pangunahing layunin sa pagsasabatas ng Maharlika Investment Fund ay upang magkaroon ng mekanismo ang gobyerno para sa financial stability at economic growth matapos ang pananalasa ng pandemya ng COVID 19.

We respect the Supreme Court’s directive for the Executive and Legislative branches of government to provide their response concerning Republic Act 11954, the Maharlika Investment Fund Act of 2023.
The House of Representatives, under my leadership as the Speaker, affirms its commitment to the rule of law and will duly submit our comment within the ten-day timeframe.
It is crucial to underscore that the creation of the Maharlika Investment Fund aims to provide the country with a mechanism for financial stability and economic growth.
We have followed due legislative processes in crafting and enacting this law, keeping in mind the best interests of the Filipino people.
The concerns raised by the petitioners deserve to be addressed comprehensively.
It is important for the public to know that our intent was always to ensure transparency, accountability, and financial prudence in the management of public funds.
We will thoroughly review the petition’s claims to ensure the fund’s integrity and our adherence to the constitution.
