Outgoing BSP Governor Amando Tetangco Jr., nananatiling highest paid government official

Si outgoing Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Governor Amando Tetangco Jr. pa rin ang nananatiling highest paid government official.

Ayon sa data ng Commission on Audit mula sa kanilang Report on Salaries and Allowances (ROSA), kumita si Tetangco ng P15.912 million noong 2016.

Bukod  sa BSP head, nasa pangalawang pwesto naman ang papalit sa kaniya na si BSP Deputy Governor for Supervision and Examination Sector Nestor Espenilla Jr., na kumita ng P12.282 million.

Sinusundan ito ni BSP Deputy Governor for Monetary Stability Sector Diwa Gunigundo na nakakuha ng P12.248 million na sahod at allowances noong nakaraang taon.

Ikaapat si BSP Deputy Governor for Resource Management Sector Vicente Aquino na may P12.145 million.

Pang-lima naman si Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) President Robert Vergara na nabigyan ng P13.449 million.

Kasunod sina BSP board members Juan de Zuñiga Jr. (P8.451 million) at Felipe Medalla (P8.375 million) sa ika-anim at pitong pwesto.

 

Nasa ika-walo naman si Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairperson Teresita Herbosa na nakatanggap ng P8.339 million.

Pang-siyam si BSP Assistant Governor Ma. Ramona Gertrudes Santiago na mayroong P8.292 million.

Nasa ika-sampung pwesto si BSP board member Valentin Araneta na may P8.226 million.

Nilinaw naman ng COA na sa hiwalay na record naman nakatala ang sahod at iba pang benepisyo ng presidente, senador, kongresista at local government officials.

Ang nasabing report ay taunang inilalabas ng COA.
