SP Pimentel, walang balak pumalit sa pwesto ni VP Robredo
Walang balak na pumalit si Senate President Aquilino Pimentel kay Vice President Leni Robredo sakaling mapatalsik ito sa pwesto sa pamamagitan ng impeachment.
Batay sa saligang batas, ang Senate President ang isa sa maaring maging pansamantalang Bise Presidente kapag namatay o napatalsik ang Vice President.
Pero ayon kay Pimentel, kuntento na siya sa kaniyang posisyon at marami pa siyang problemang kailangang desisyunan.
Batay sa Konstitusyon, maari naman aniyang mamili ang Pangulo ng papalit kay Robredo sa mga miyembro ng Kamara at Senado na pagtitibayin naman ng Kongreso.
Kung makakapili aniya ang Pangulo ng pansamantalang hahalili sa posisyon ng Vice President, mamamalagi siya sa pwesto hanggat walang desisyon ang Presidential Electoral Tribunal sa election protest ni Senador Bongbong Marcos.
Pero kung si Robredo pa rin ang idedeklarang panalo ng PET, hindi na siya maaring bumalik bilang Bise President dahil napatalsik na sya sa pamamagitan ng impeachment.
