Tatlo katao ang nabaril at nasugatan sa Tel Aviv, dahil sa pag-atake ng mga miyembro ng armed wing ng Palestinian group na Hamas.
Ayon sa Israeli police, nangyari ang pamamaril sa Dizengoff Avenue, isang popular na nightlife spot sa sentro ng Tel Aviv, kung saan tatlo katao rin ang nasawi sa Palestinian attack noong April 2022.
Sinabi ni Israeli police spokesman Dean Elsdunne, “The three victims of today’s attack in Tel Aviv are still alive, correcting the earlier statement that one of them had been declared dead.”
Sinabi naman ng Hamas sa isang pahayag, na ang pag-atake ay maaaring gawa ng isang miyembro ng kanilang armed wing.
Sinabi ng Israeli police, na isang pedestrian ang binaril ng suspek bago ito napatay ng mga awtoridad.
Kuwento ni David Friedman, isa sa mga pulis na bumaril sa suspek, “I heard gunshots and saw people running away. I immediately loaded my gun and ran towards the scene. At one point, I fired three rounds at him, [a colleague] also fired three rounds, and when he fell, he was shot again so he wouldn’t get up again.”
Ayon sa Magen David Adom emergency response service, ang tatlong sugatan ay isinugod sa ospital.
Sinabi naman ni Magen David Adom director Eli Bin, “We evacuated the three with gunshot wounds, one of them in critical condition, one seriously wounded, and one lightly wounded.”
Batay sa Israeli at Palestinian official sources, sa simula pa lamang ng 2023, ang Israeli-Palestinian conflict ay ikinasawi na ng 76 na Palestinian, 12 sibilyan at isang Israeli police officer, gayundin ng isang babaeng Ukrainian.
