Apat katao ang namatay at 21 iba pa ang nasaktan, nang bumagsak ang bubungan ng isang restaurant sa popular na tourist island ng Mallorca sa Spain.

Sinabi ng isang emergency services spokeswoman, “There are four dead and around 21 injured, ‘several nationalities’ were among the victims.”

Sa post ng emergency services sa social media, sinabi nila, “Seven of the victims were in a ‘very serious’ state and nine others had ‘serious’ injuries, with different hospitals admitting them.”

Sinabi ni Sanchez na nakausap niya ang pangulo ng Balearic Islands region, kung saan naroroon ang Mallorca at maging ang city mayor.

Ayon kay Balearic Islands President Marga Prohens, “nabigla” siya sa balita at sinabing ipina-aabot niya ang kaniyang pakikiramay sa pamilya ng apat na namatay.

Ang Mallorca na kilala sa magaganda nitong beaches, at ang Balearic Islands ay nakahihikayat ng higit na mas maraming mga turista kaysa lahat ng Spanish regions kasunod ng Catalonia.

Mahigit sa 14 na milyong mga turista ang bumisita sa isla noong nakaraang taon, ayon sa opisyal na bilang.
