Plano ni Pangulong Duterte na ilagay si Gen. Año sa DILG, nananatili

Hindi nagbabago ang desisyon ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na italaga si AFP Chief of Staff Eduardo Año bilang DILG Secretary.
Subalit, dahil may batas na nagbabawal magtalaga ng military official hangga’t hindi pa nakalilipas ang isang taon mulanang magretiro, ilalagay muna si Año sa Office of the President (OP) bilang Undersecretary o Senior Aide at siya na ang tatayong Officer-in-Charge ng DILG.
Ayon kay Pangulong Duterte , kailangan niya ang serbisyo ni Año kaya hindi siya maghahanap ng ibang opisyal na ilalagay sa DILG portfolio.
Sa ngayon, mayroon pang misyon si Año sa Marawi City at tatapusin niya muna bago ito ilalagay sa DILG o sa OP.
