It will be on a best-effort basis. We will try to pass the remaining eight bills from the original priority list,” ayon sa statement na inilabas ni Speaker Romualdez.

If we could do that, we would have approved all the urgent measures identified by President Marcos in less than a year,” dagdag na pahayag ng Speaker.

Ayon kay Romualdez ang natitirang 8 priority bills ng Malakanyang na pagtitibayin ng Kamara bago ang ikalawang State of the Nation Address o SONA ng Pangulo sa July ay kinabibilangan ng; Regional Specialty Hospitals Bill, Enabling Law for the Natural Gas Industry, National Land Use Act, Department of Water Resources and Services and Creation of Water Regulatory Commission, Amendments to the Electric Power Industry Reform Act, Budget Modernization Bill, National Defense Act at Unified System of Separation Retirement and Pension for Uniform Personnel Bill.

These proposed pieces of legislation support the President’s Agenda for Prosperity and his eight-point socio-economic roadmap,” ayon sa statement na inilabas ni Speaker Romualdez.
