Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta ikinatuwa pa rin ang resulta ng Pulse Asia Survey sa kabila ng mababang public awareness
Masaya pa rin si Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta sa pinakabagong resulta ng Pulse Asia Survey.
Ayon kay Supreme Court Public Information Office Chief Brian Keith Hosaka, ito ay dahil sa kahit na mababa ang public awareness sa punong mahistrado ay nakakuha pa rin ito ng positibong approval rating.
Sa survey ng Pulse Asia, nakatanggap lamang ng 44 percent approval rating at 39 percent trust rating si Peralta dahil 68 percent lang sa mga tinanong sa survey ang kilala kung sino siya at alam ang kanyang pwesto sa hudikatura.
Ipinunto ni Peralta na appointed officials siya at ang iba pang mahistrado kaya logical na mas mababa ang awareness sa kanila ng publiko kumpara sa ibang government officials.
Sinabi pa ni Hosaka na nakatuon ang punong mahistrado sa pagsulong ng mga kinakailangang reporma sa hudikatura para matiyak na mas mabuting maigagawad ang hustisya sa publiko.
Mas concern din anya si Peralta sa pagiging epektibo ng mga panuntunan at sirkular na inisyu at ipinatupad sa isang taon nito bilang chief justice.
Kabilang na rito ang mga inisyu sa panahon ng pandemya para magpatuloy ang operasyon at serbisyo ng mga hukuman sa taumbayan sa kabila ng krisis.
According to Chief Justice Diosdado M. Peralta, he is happy that despite a relatively lower awareness by the public, he still had a positive approval rating. The Chief Justice noted that he and the other magistrates of the Judiciary are all appointed officials. Hence, they will logically have lower awareness by the public.
More than anything, the Chief Justice is concentrated on providing the necessary reforms in the Judiciary to ensure the public that Justice will be better served. That is the thrust of the Peralta Court.
The Chief Justice is more concerned on the effectiveness of the rules and circulars that were issued and implemented during his 1 year tenure as Chief Justice, which includes those issued during the Covid 19 Pandemic in order for the public to have continuous access to our Courts. He is actually scheduled to have a press conference with the media on October 23, 2020 which will coincide with his first year anniversary as Chief Justice, to discuss as to how far has he gone with his ten point program.
