Mga gusali sa loob ng Supreme Court compound, walang tinamong malaking pinsala sa nangyaring paglindol

Nakumpleto na ng engineering team ng Korte Suprema ang inisyal na inspeksyon sa lahat ng gusali sa Supreme Court compound.

Ayon kay Supreme Court spokesman Atty Brian Keith Hosaka, walang major o malaking pinsala na nakita sa alinmang gusali at istruktura sa Korte Suprema matapos ang lindol noong Lunes.

Gayunman, makikipag-ugnayan pa rin anya ang Supreme Court sa DPWH para sa mas mabusising structural assessment sa lahat ng gusali nito.

Samantala, Tiniyak ng Korte Suprema na minomonitor nila ang mga kaganapan matapos ang magkasunod na paglindol sa Central Luzon at Eastern Visayas.

Ipinauubaya naman ng SC sa mga Executive Judges ng mga apektadong hukuman ang pagdideklara ng suspensyon ng trabaho.

‪”The SC engineering team has completed an initial inspection of all the buildings in the SC compound. No major & structural damage has been found on any of the bldgs & structures. Nonetheless,the SC will coordinate with DPWH for a more thorough structural assessment of all its buildings‬.”

“The Chief Justice has given Executive Judges in areas affected by the recent earthquakes the discretion to suspend work. The Supreme Court is closely monitoring the aftermath of the earthquakes, and should circumstances warrant, an additional advisory will be timely issued.”
