Dinomina ng “Barbie” ng Warner Bros. ang North American box offices sa kaniyang debut weekend, kung saan kumita ito ng $155 million na halos doble ng kinita ng mahigpit nitong katunggali na “Oppenheimer.”

Sabay na ipinalabas at tinagurian pa ngang “Barbenheimer,” ang darker biopic ng Universal ay kumita naman ng $80.5 million.

Pang-apat at pang-lima naman ang “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One” ng Paramount na pinagbibidahan ni Tom Cruise na kumita ng $19.5 million at “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” na kinatatampukan ni Harrizon Ford, na kumita ng $6.7 million.
