Pagdating sa bansa ng Russian anti COVID-19 vaccine na Gamaleya hindi matutuloy – Malakanyang

Kinumpirma ng Malakanyang na hindi muna matutuloy ang pagdating sa bansa ng 15 libong inisyal na doses ng Russian anti COVID 19 vaccine na Gamaleya.

Sinabi ni Presidential Spokesman Secretary Harry Roque na may logistical challenges na kinakaharap ngayon na nagresulta sa pagkaantala ng delivery ng bakuna.

Ayon kay Roque kabilang sa logistical problem ay ang kawalan ng direct flight mula Russia patungong Pilipinas gayundin ang cold storage requirement ng bakuna na negative 20 degrees temperature.

Inihayag ni Roque na gumagawa na ng kaukulang hakbang si Vaccine Czar Secretary Carlito Galvez para makarating sa bansa ang Russian vaccine.

Ang Russian anti COVID 19 vaccine na Gamaleya ay kabilang sa gagamitin ng bansa sa isasagawang mass vaccination kasama ng Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna at Johnson and Johnson.
