Gobyerno, on top of the situation sa panibagong paglindol sa Mindanao
Tiniyak ng Malakanyang sa kontrolado ng mga kinauukulang ahensiya ng pamahalaan ang buong sitwasyon sa Mindanao na muling tinamaan ng malakas na paglindol.
Sa statement na inilabas ni Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo inatasan na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang mga kinauukulang ahensiya ng pamahalaan para tulungan ang mga naapektuhan ng paglindol sa pangunguna ng National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council o NDRRMC at Office of the Civil Defense o OCD.
Ayon kay Panelo patuloy na nakamonitor ang Pangulo at tumatanggap ng report ukol sa mga developments sa isinasagawang assessment sa pinasalang idinulot ng lindol.
Inihayag ni Panelo na ligtas ang Pangulo at ang kanyang pamilya na kasalukuyang nasa kanyang tahanan sa Davao City.
Secretary Panelo’s statement:
“On the October 31 Mindanao earthquake The Government, through the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council and the Office of Civil Defense, is currently on top of the situation in light of the 6.5 and 7 magnitude earthquakes that hit areas in Mindanao this morning. The President is safe in his home in Davao and is closely monitoring the developments. The President considers all situations arising from natural disasters that have caused widespread destruction to lives and property a top concern. The President had directed all agencies and responsible local government units to provide the necessary assistance and immediate relief to those affected”.
